Our Story

My first memory of Jack is from the Biology class (one of many classes) we had together during freshman year of high school, although I didn’t know who he was at the time. This kid that sat a few seats down from me in the back row brought a pickle costume to school on Halloween. Finding it hilarious, I pulled out my phone and took a picture, while laughing under my breath. After I left class that day, I didn’t think about that picture for another two years.

When I was introduced to a new friend group in 2021, I instantly recognized Jack from the classes we had together and the overlap from the both of us playing basketball. As we spent more time together, I realized that I had spent so long looking past someone who was right in front of me. In one of the hardest times of my life, Jack put a smile on my face and made me laugh so easily. No matter the day I was having, Jack was there to listen and be supportive. We started spending every free moment together and have been inseparable since!

One of the first things to stick out to me about Abby was her intelligence. She is one of the smartest people I know, and yet she is always willing and eager to learn more and improve herself. As we grew closer, I really started to see how similar we are, and I knew Abby was the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with.

Abby has helped me become a more introspective person, and shown me that it is okay to feel vulnerable and share my feelings. She has made my life so much better in any and every way and I don’t want to think about a life in which I don’t get to spend every free moment with her. The way she laughs and giggles, the way her smile lights up a room, everything about Abby is perfect. I cannot imagine my life with a more amazing person.
